Greene King will pay a reward of £500 credit to your trade account and £100 High Street Voucher to any current trading customer who nominates another person when the Nominee becomes a new trading customer with Greene King within six months of their nomination, subject to the full terms and conditions below. Greene King will, subject to the terms and conditions below, pay £500 credit into the trade account and give a £100 High Street Voucher (a “Reward”) to any current trading customer (a “Referrer”) who nominates (a “Nomination”) another person (the “Nominee”) upon the Nominee signing a contract for a term of at least one year to become a new trading customer with Greene King within six months of their Nomination.

  1. Scheme period. This Scheme will commence on 16th August2023 and continue until terminated by Greene King. Termination will not affect Nominations made prior to the termination date.
  1. By providing your name as a Referrer you are deemed to have accepted, and will be bound by, these terms and conditions.
  1. This Scheme is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over only, who are current trading customers of Greene King.
  1. Entry requirements. To enter the Scheme, you must advise the Nominee to scan the QR code or follow the link and enter the required details including your name or business name and postcode. A member of the team will then be in touch with the Nominee within 5 working days.
  1. Minimum service agreement. Nominees must meet our minimum service agreement to become a Greene King customer. This includes but is not limited to having draught dispense capabilities & a minimum stock order of 3 containers (including 1 own brand) per delivery (“Qualifying Order”). By signing up for a contract of at least one year, the Nominee agrees to place 12 Qualifying Orders over a term of one year.
  1. Nominees must be over 21 years old, have the Right to Work in the UK, without a criminal record, and should not at the time of their Nomination by the Referrer be a current customer (someone who has ordered from Greene King in the last 12 weeks) on our Database or a previous customer who has been barred from being supplied by Greene King. Please note that Greene King are unable to provide a Reward if we are unable to service the Nominee due to venue location or other factors. 
  1. Payment of rewards. Rewards will become due to a Referee if the Nominee signs a contract of at least one year to become a new trading customer with Greene King within six months of their nomination by the Referrer subject to section 5. If, for whatever reason, the Nominee does not make a minimum of 12 Qualifying Orders over a term of one year subject to section 5, then the Referrer agrees to refund on demand (without any time limit) any Reward paid. 
  1. No Reward will be payable in respect of any Nominee who was in discussion with Greene King about becoming a new trading customer before the nomination or before the Scheme commencement date of 16th August 2023.
  1. In the event that a Nominee is nominated by more than one Referrer, the Reward will be shared equally between the Referrers.
  1. The Referrer will be informed of their Reward as soon as practicable after a Nominee signs a contract to become a new trading customer for a term of at least one year.
  1. Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the Referrer using the details provided when they made the Nomination. However, if a response has not been received within 14 days, or if the Referrer is ineligible or otherwise in breach of these terms and conditions, no Reward will be payable.
  1. We accept no responsibility for failed delivery due to the provision of incorrect contact details by you.
  1. The Referrer will receive their Reward within 30 working days of delivery of the Nominee’s first Qualifying Order as a new customer unless otherwise specified. In any event the Reward must be claimed and taken within six months of being notified by Greene King of the Reward.
  1. Limitation of liability. To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any damage, loss or injury suffered (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way due to entering this Scheme. We are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions.
  1. General terms. We reserve the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible Nominations. No responsibility will be accepted for Nominations lost, damaged or delayed, technical or telecommunications faults. Proof of submitting is not proof of receipt.
  1. We reserve the right, in our absolute discretion, to verify the Referrer, including, but not limited to, proof of identity and/or age, as required, and to withdraw a Reward where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or otherwise where a Referrer has gained advantage in participating in the Scheme or has participated using fraudulent means.
  1. Our decision is binding in all matters relating to this Scheme, and no correspondence shall be entered into.
  1. Owing to exceptional circumstances outside our reasonable control and only where circumstances make this unavoidable, we reserve the right to cancel or amend the Scheme or these terms and conditions at any time, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to you in order to avoid undue disappointment.
  1. Governing law & jurisdiction. These terms and conditions (and any non-contractual disputes/claims which arise out of or in connection with them) will be governed by English law and we and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

  1. Data Controller. Greene King Brewing and Retailing Limited (ICO registration number ZA054235) is the data controller in respect of this Scheme.
  1. We are required to comply with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK General Data Protection Regulation in relation to the processing of any personal information obtained from you, including when you take part in this Scheme. We are a member of the Greene King group of companies (the “Group”), and the Group takes the protection of your personal information seriously.
  1. Why do we need to process your personal data? We want our promotions and reward schemes to be administered fairly so that all entrants can enjoy them. To do this well, we need to process some of your personal data. We will process your personal data to administer the Scheme, to confirm that you have complied with the terms of the Scheme, to confirm whether you are entitled to a Reward, to communicate with you in relation to any Reward and to deal with any queries you have in relation to the Scheme.
  1. What information do we process? When you enter this Scheme we need your name or business name and postcode. This must be given to the Nominee to enter onto the form when they complete the Nomination.
  1. How long do we keep personal information for? If you exercise your data protection rights, we will keep a record of your request and our response indefinitely, to be able to show that we responded properly and fairly to your request.
